UNITED STATES TRADE CUSTOMERS Orders are shipped to you from our facility in Blaine, Wa. With the NAFTA trade agreement, there is virtually no duty as we are a NAFTA manufacturer. We issue invoices in US dollars, and have a U.S.A. ad dress for regular mail for your convenience. We have a toll free fax order line. When you deal with our company you will find it no different than dealing with your local suppliers. CANADIAN TRADE CUSTOMERS As we have operated our business in Canada since 1988, we have a considerable network of established distributors across the country. If you belong to a cooperative warehouse or support a particular distributor, chances are they already stock some of our core products ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION SUPPORT Whether or not you deal with our company directly, we offer financial and logistic support for advertising and promotion of our products. Here are just some of the ways we can help: Graphic and advertising design We operate a dedicated in house studio that can provide basics such as line art, right up to finished colour layouts for catalogues, brochures, flyers and mailers. We can provide all work on disc, via the internet, or traditional paper output. There is usually no charge for any of these services. Custom handle print program We have printed literally hundreds of thousands of our drivers with custom logos and slogans. Picquics make for memorable corporate and employee gifts, incentives and safety awards. Many retailers market our products to their larger trade type customers on a third party basis. We do all layouts, platemaking and printing in house so order turnaround is quick and costs are low for this service. We can apply any logo in any colour to any of our driver handles. Special displays and planograms We can help you determine the best ways in which to merchandise our line. We have many different displays which work with blister carded or bulk products. All countries outside of the USA and Canada are considered export at this time. For Export marketing partners, we can facilitate CIF or FOB Vancouver, B.C., Canada shipments, and depending on circumstances, we accept payment by either Telegraphic funds transfer or L/C. We have a very professional and economical freight forwarder than can arrange reasonable and timely air and ocean shipments.
Our policy regarding defective product in retail or warehouse situations is to have the product replaced from your existing stock to your customer. Replacement should only be made in accordance with our consumer product guarantee, as follows:
All Picquic products are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship as long as you own them, and will be either repaired or replaced free of charge in the event of legitimate failure. Our products are not guaranteed in the event of abuse, misuse or neglect which means you must only use the product for it's intended purpose and ensure it is properly stored while not in use. i.e.: Our screwdrivers are only intended for driving screws and not to be used as chisels, and some metal parts will rust if kept in damp locations. Because the bits in Picquic screwdrivers and Bitpacs are made to function in power driven applications, they can wear over time, and are not subject to this guarantee. This exclusion also applies to accessories we produce such as 1/4" hex drive adapters and the detachable shanks which come with some of our Picquic Pro models of drivers. The grinding wheel on the Portasharp drill bit sharpener will also wear with substantial use. Assuming the conditions of the above guarantee are met and you have replaced the product to your customer, this is our defective fulfillment process:
Special note of inherent defect: Product; Sixpac drivers produced between 1988 and 1990: The only easily correctable defect which has surfaced in any of our products to date is the potential for ball bearing loss from the original Sixpac driver. As many of these units are still in service, occasionally, we receive product back from both consumers and trade sources. It is our preference in these cases to supply the consumer with the newer version of sirclip spring (and new ball bearing) to avoid total replacement of an otherwise perfectly functional product. If consumers contact us directly with this problem it is our standard practice to send them 1 or 2 free bits of their choice to make up for their trouble. If you encounter one of these products, we ask that you consider providing the full name, address and telephone/fax number of the consumer, along with their preference of two bits they would like to have for their Picquic. Once we have this we will send out the new sirclip and ball bearing along with bits they've requested immediately. Alternatively, we are happy to send you a few repair kits at no charge, for immediate provision to your customer in the odd event this situation occurs. Thank you for your consideration and assistance.
